My Twentysomething Life

I Do, Make, Read, Watch, Eat…

Dad is Fat–Jim Gaffigan
So entertaining and funny!
The Wettest County in the World–Matt Bonderant
This is based on a true story of a family during the prohibition.  It was pretty interesting.  Also, the movie Lawless was based on this book.
Mrs. Lincoln’s Dressmaker–Jennifer Chiaverini
This was a very good book of historical fiction.  I really enjoyed the story.
Never Have I Ever–Sara Shepherd
This is an interesting series.  It gets kind of confusing, but it is interesting to see how everything comes together.
Austenland–Shannon Hale
This book was not what I was expecting, but it turned into a cute, funny romance.
The Love Dare–Stephen Kendrick
I have been using this as a devotional and I just finished it.  It was pretty good.
A Clash of Kings–George RR Martin
Not as good as the first one, but I still enjoyed it.
Girls in White Dresses–Jennifer Close
This was a cute book.  It jumped around to all of the friends stories.  It was a quick read.
Dinner: A Love Story–Jenny Rosenstrach
I loved this book!  This was a great book about making dinner a central thing for your family.
When the Pastor is Your Husband–Donna Alder
I have read better books on this subject
Batman Vol 2: The City of Owls
This is a fun series that Adam and I are reading, whenever we can get them from the library.
Bread and Wine: A Love Letter to Live around the Table–Shauna Neiquest
I seriously loved this book.  It is on my “to-buy” list.  It is a keeper.
The Elite–Kiera Cass
This was a really good sequel to The Selection.  I can’t wait for the final book to finish out the story!
Two Truths and a Lie–Sara Shepard
This is book 3 in the Lying Game series and I’m hooked.  I can’t wait to find out what happens next!
Beautiful Creatures–Kami Garcia
The book is better than the movie and it had a rather intriguing story.
Ten Stupid Things that Keep Churches from Growing–Geoff Surratt
Meh.  Alright.  Was not that impressed really.
The Moon and More–Sarah Dessen
I loved this book.  It was really a great read.  I have decided to read more of her books.  I really enjoy them.
Data: A Love Story–Amy Webb
This was a very interesting read about tricking the system of online dating.
Hide and Seek–Sara Shepard
Another great story from The Lying Game.  I just have to know what happens next!
