I found this quiz link in a magazine, and so I took the quiz.
It was pretty fun to take, but not fun to admit some of my cleaning practices to myself.
My result: The “Don’t Judge Me” Girl
Cleaning is not your number one priority and you’re okay with that, and can shrug off any comments from your mother-in-law or neat freak friends. And hey, only one in ten of our survey respondents declare their home ready for a white-glove inspection, so you are not alone, girl. When cleaning does make your to-do list, try these ideas for the easiest cleaning habits to start today and print our emergency cleaning checklist to keep on hand to help keep you calm under last-minute cleaning pressure.
Sad, but true. I must admit it.
What about you?

Sorry I haven’t blogged for a couple days. It has been a little busy and I was busy relaxing over the weekend but I guess it didn’t do me any good because I was home sick today.
On Friday I just hung out at home, watched Life of Pi and Playing for Keeps. Life of Pi was awesome. I had really low expectations for it and didn’t expect to like it at all, but I really enjoyed it. Playing for Keeps, on the other hand, I thought was going to be good, but it was not good at all.
Also, on Saturday, one of my friends is getting married in about a month and I went to a bridal shower for her. This is the cute card I made for her:
I was in love with this card. The shower was super fun and I was so happy to get to help shower Becky to get ready for her wedding. Afterwards, Lauren and I went to Applebees to hang out together, which was great.
Sunday, Adam and I hung around the house and Jacob and Lauren came over in the evening (love those guys!)
The weekend was good, I just wish I hadn’t been sick today. I thought I was getting over my string of sickness. Apparently not.
When you call your bank to check your account balance (because their online banking system is terrible), should you question it when they tell you that you have over $100 more in the bank then you thought you did? Now the business major in me is bothered by that. I reconcile our bank statement with my excel spreadsheet every month and I can usually get it to balance with what they are saying by subtracting the transactions that haven’t gone through yet. But I am all caught up with transactions and I still don’t balance. Part of me says, it’s just a surprise from God, adjust your excel spreadsheet with an added bonus and move on. But the other part of my, the business side where nothing can be that easy, says find out where the problem is and what’s going on. I am confused as to how I have more money than I thought I did because I only take money out when I have the receipts and I don’t think I would accidently take out more money than I was supposed to. Anyways, I am befuddled and confused by this, but I guess I’ll just thank God for the extra cushion and move on, with my eye twitching…
These are some photos from my sister’s birthday outing to Into the Fire, which is a paint your own pottery place. We will pick up our finished masterpieces this coming Saturday. I can’t wait to see how they turned out!

This week I love: having a clean house
This week I hate: not sleeping well
Mmmm. I love biscuits and gravy, and so does Adam, so it is usually a safe choice when I don’t know what else to make.
I really like to make everything homemade, but I usually have the same problem with biscuits and gravy as I do with pizza dough, something doesn’t go right. Every time I make homemade sausage gravy, the gravy gets hard like paste…yuck. So I have been buying bag mixes (just add water). Adam does not like this kind of gravy, but at least this way it is edible.
Well, I am determined that my gravy problems will stop tonight. The Pioneer Woman has a biscuits and gravy recipe and I’m going to make it for dinner tonight and I really hope it works.
So here’s hoping. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
Right now, all I want is
1-a good nights sleep
2-my clean house to stay clean
Is that too much to ask?
I have been so good lately, going to bed in time to get 8 hours of sleep, but I wake up at all times of the night, and for the past 3 mornings, I have woken up 15-30 minutes before my alarm clock. And that is one of the most annoying things ever. I am so tired. I just want a good nights sleep.
I had gotten really behind on cleaning the house because I have been so busy. Monday night I cleaned the whole first floor (I haven’t quite made it upstairs yet). But now, I just want it to stay clean. Since I cleaned it, every out of place thing or clutter makes me cringe. I do pretty well of keeping it clean the first few days, but soon I’ll get too annoyed with always putting things back where they go that I’ll just stop. Hopefully I make it longer this time. Why can’t my house just stay clean? And the laundry and dishes stay done? That is all I ask.
